It is a great school serving a rural mountain community and it offers so much for every student.
I've been a student at Tenaya since I was in preschool and i love it.The teachers are great, and there always there to help you.The academics are amazing.Over all Tenaya is a great school.
Tenaya Elementary has caring teachers who help the kids do their best. The school usually scores high in state test scoress. Music classes are limited as are arts and sports as the school is in a rural area and relatively small (250 - 300 students). Parent involvement is rather high, the first grade class my child is in has one parent helper in the class almost every day.
