I am a very involved parent at GB Elm. I am so pleased to see the positive changes in the 5yrs we have been at this school site. GB Elm does not get enough recognition for what a wonderful school. We have an OUTSTANDING Principal MR.O, Teacher, staff, students, and parents. We look forward to another outstanding year.....The Home Of The Golden Gopher!

I feel that when this new principal mrs. F took over, it has just been disorganized! She has done wonderfully on student behavior on the play ground. The school needs more structure and more parent contact.

Both my children have attended GB Elementary. My son attended K-6th. My daughter is currently in the 3rd grade. Her present teacher, Mrs. Richison, is an excellent teacher. She's strict and expects her students to perform to the best of their abilities. Our daughter will be in the Gift & Talented Enrichment G.A.T.E program next year and we credit Mrs. Richison for our daughter being qualified to be in this program. The school has a new principal this year. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication to the parents regarding certain school functions/awards assemblies/fund raiser information. An example would be an awards assembly will be announced for a certain day at a certain time. When we as parents arrive, the assembly time has been changed at the last minute and we have missed our child receiving her award. I feel communication could be improved.
