I'm rating this school 5 stars ONLY due to the teachers! The teachers have what it takes to work with this age of children. Unfortunately, I believe the pricipal could go through a refresher course on why she's working with kids. From what I've seen she does NOT enjoy her job or working with children individually, or support the teachers in a positive way. Middle school age children need encouraging, and patience, not to be labeled and targeted. In my eyes, NO CHILD is hopeless, some just need a little positive reinforcement every now and then.

This is a school with great teachers working very hard to improve the lives of the students attending. In a small community with few resources for success the teachers go above and beyond to bring the best to the students. Yes the test scores are low but with so many students struggling to learn English the fact the test scores continue to rise shows how hard the teachers are working. The teachers work hard despite a principal who is clueless!

This is a solid school with experienced, caring teachers. The low test scores seem to be because of the high number of students who are still learning English and do not reflect the good learning my child experienced here. Discipline seems to be fair, although some bullying seems to continue. Overall, if a parent is in contact with teachers, he can be assured his child can do very well here.
