Kind, caring teachers who go beyond their job description to help all of the needy children of Guerneville School.
My son is in Kindergarten so this is my first experience with public school. I am so impressed with the staff commitment and care they give to each student even though the class size is 28 kids for one teacher. They work tirelessly with each of them to make sure they The parents of this commnunity are very committed to their kids and many volunteer in the classroom to assist the staff. We have a music program for the kids that is organized by FOGS a parent sponsored non profit that raises money for the music program. I must say must my son's first year at this school has been fabulous.
Guerneville School is a terrific elementary school. Teachers are caring and commited to helping students. The school provides a solid education that includes music, computer classes, a Gifted program and a band.
My 2nd and 3rd grade children have had a great school experience here. The teachers are wonderful. The principle is involved and supportive. Five stars for this Russian River School.
I have went to many schools in my life because we move so much but I can honetly say this has been the best school I have ever went to.
My three children went from K-8 at this school, it was wonderful. Small class size, lots of individual attention, excellant and caring administration. Problem was when they graduated they went to ElMo. Truly a bad experience until I found RR Charter School & RR Ramparts.
We love this school! the teachers are experienced & caring, the parents are involved, & they offer an excellent environmental education program, in addition to music, dance, soccer, softball, homework help, computer education & more.
Outstanding school, administration, and teachers!
Execellent teachers, great setting, small class sizes, high level of parent involvement. Above average offerings in extra curricular activities: sports, art and music.
My son has been at Guerneville School from Kindergarden thru 3rd grade. Every one of his teachers has been exceptional. The majority of teaching is based on state testing requirements, but each teacher has found time for science experiments, art projects, drama, PE, and lots of field trips! I have been very impressed with the enthusiasm each teacher brings to the classroom and the well roundness of the school day. The community is extremely supportive, which has allowed Guerneville School to have music classes for all grades, a computer lab, and scholarship opportunites for extended education (which my son participated in), among many other programs. The school has a casual, supportive atmosphere. The school could use more parent volunteers and more playground supervision, and occasionally there is over crowding in the lower grades. But, overall, I have been very happy with my sons experience there.
