Joseph M. Simas School

I have been a student at Simas since third grade, I am going to be in sixth grade this fall. Ever since then I have never wanted to leave Simas. I just love it.

We are extemely happy with Simas. The teachers (except for one that I am aware of) and staff are friendly & supportive of the students. We have a child who started at Simas in kindergarten in the Spanish Immersion Program.. He is going to be a 6th grader in the fall. When I received his SAT9 scores I thought there was a mistake..they were that good. I would definitely recommend this school and the Spanish Immersion Program.

I am a parent of three in which attend Simas school. I have to say the teacher are wonderful. I had four children attend but one moved on to Jr. High. I have to say I was blown away by her Sat 9 scores she was profient in Math and almost Advanced in English. This child is not a genesis, but Simas teacher care about the student and work very hard to make sure each student is working to the best of their ability.

My son is in Kindergarten this year at Simas Elementary and is in the Spanish Immersion Program, or the FLI program as they call it. We have been extremely happy with the school and our son's teacher. She is caring and compansionate and you can tell she really loves the kids and loves being a teacher! Our son is halfway through K and is reading in both Spanish and English! We are very impressed!
