Pines Christian is an excellent school! It creates a good foundation for the kids! My son is now in middle school, him and another girl that was in his class since Kindergarten at Pines are the top 2 in his class, getting Principal's awards for getting 4.0+ all throughout the year! they are so advanced that they are taking Math and a couple more subjects above their grade level! This school is surely a great school to build your children's confidence, good values and academic skills!!

What can I say about the Pines? I have 4 children and all have attended since Pre-K. Mrs. Pat is amazing!!!! I thought that the joy of going to school would fade as they got older, but to my amazement, my children gave up Disneyland rather than miss a day in Kindergarten and Miss Shelly.!! Have you ever heard such a thing? The teachers love their kids, and push them gently towards individual success. My two oldest are in highschool now, and they always love to come back and visit their former teachers. The foundation they all have recieved has set them above their peers academically, and their love for God and community is refreshing. An awesome school all around.

As a parent, I was concerned about sending my son to the local overcrowded public school but didn't think we could afford any other option. We found Pines to be a warm and nurturing environment and the tuition is very affordable.

My grandson has been at Pines Christian School for the past four years. He absolutely loves his school. Our experience has been wonderful. The teachers are great educators and the religious teaching has been inspiring. We only has two more years at the Pines before moving on. We pray that the school will be as AWESOME.

I have had six grandchildren all go from kindergarten upwards at the Pines over the past ten years. I love the place and so do my grandkids. What I appreciate is that there is a kind of happy "music" coming from the playgrounds that cheers my soul every time I enter the campus. It is the sound of happy children playing. The homework is sometimes a drag, but I have no complaints about the kid's academic performance. The long day care hours and complimentary lunch program keep me from spending the whole day running around delivering kids and food. The school is the picture of diversity, both in the staff and among the students. It has a kind of international "flavor" that's really difficult to find anywhere else. I would highly recommend the school to anyone, but think it is an absolute God send for working parents.

SuMmEr CaMp!!!! Summer is here! In order to avoid the dreaded "summer slide" (forgetting what you learned during the year), you need to keep those brain cells working! Find a great summer program (like Pines) to enroll your children in. Pines offers morning academic studies, fun activities each afternoon, and field trips every Friday. Come and join the fun!

We love Pines. They have a good balance between education and fun. The work is tough, but the teachers are willing to go beyond to help the kids succeed. They also offer inexpensive tutoring (a blessing for us). The free food service program is wonderful. They are open from 6am to 6pm (great for us working parents). I feel like the staff and administration really love the students. Pines is a very small, happy, nurturing place. I would highly recommend this school.

I have only had my children at the Pines for 1 year 2nd and 4th and so far, I am very pleased. My children are straight A students and I was afraid they were not getting the grade they deserved at their previous school since all the children in the classroom were A students too. How could that be? Now, I know my children are very smart and deserve their grades. Just like any other school, parents involvement in homework and studies should not end at school, it continues when the children come home. I am happy to recommend this school for their high academics and discipline.

Great school! We left our previous school (public) because our son was being bullied. Pines is a very safe, controlled, and nutruring environment. The teachers and staff truly care about the kids. We feel safe. The diversity of the kids is amazing and beautiful (not typical of the area). The campus is small but very nice. We highly reccommend Pines.

Curious about the school, well so was I. I am excited to let parents know that The Pines is a wonderful school, the teachers have a great connection with the children and and kids are receiving a top knotch education. These kids test higher than the public school in math and reading. There is a family atmosphere and a genuine sense that the staff cares about the kids and the parents. No bullies, no bad behavior is tolerated, the children are learning values and having fun learning. My son loves his school very much and so do we.

This is a wonderful school. Both of my children attend, my oldest since Kindergarten - she is now in 5th grade. The principal is excellent, the teachers know each child well and the students are kind - and are taught kindness. My children's work load is very challenging. I find the environment warm and nurturing. They develop your child not only academically, but also emothionally & spiritually. We have loved our time at The Pines.

My son loves his teachers, food and wonderful Cook; but most of all teachers engage children in activities and they keep close eyes on children. Great School.

A wonderful school. A home away from home for my daughter. Great curriculum. Great Teachers. Great scores. But most of all everyone in this school puts children and their development first. Your child is not a number or just a name and the teachers have a passion for teaching. Hard to believe that there are still schools like that.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
