BCS is an amazing school!! We literally checked out every preschool and school in the valley prior to making our decision as to where we wanted our children to get their education. The teachers and staff are so genuine and loving. Our children know and love the Lord. Their academic abilities are tremendous due to the curriculum and excellent teaching. This school is worth every penny. If you want a more than quality education, your children to be loved and cared for, and your children to love God, then BCS is the place for you.

BCS is a fantabulous school! I've had my children at the preschool and now have them in the elementary and secondary level. I'm overly satisfied with the entire experience. Yes, its a private school. Most of the families are hard working folks who do work hard and sacrifice to send their children here. Many of us work extra on the side and we all probably keep an eye on our budgets. We want our children to live in the path of Jesus Christ and be great students.

Over the past several years my wife and I have been heavily involved in our granddaughter's education, performing everything from transportation to and from school, attending school meetings and sports events, helping with homework, and listening to her daily trials and tribulations. Reflecting on the disappointment we had been seeing and hearing about; we felt their had to be a better alternative to the undisciplined classrooms and vulgar and disrespectful behavior at her school. Looking for an alternative, We found BCS. Just driving onto the campus you feel the difference. Even before school starts, aids and teachers are posted through out the campus to direct auto and foot traffic and monitor the playground for your children's protection. The curriculum honors God first and emphasizes His moral values throughout the educational experience. Oh, by the way, my granddaughter is now on the honor roll and is involved in a couple of extracurricular activities where she has leadership positions. Thank you BCS faculty and administration.

As a parent of four children who attend BCS I have been very pleased with the curriculum as well as the great environment. Two years ago I took my two oldest children out of public school due to the moral decay that I was seeing in the secondary public schools. Impressed with the great environment my two oldest received our first year there I made the choice to place my two youngest also. I am very grateful to those who introduced me to this school.

As a former student of BCS I will admit that the school was going through difficult times and lacking in certain areas in the past, but the school has been revamping their administration and facilities recently. With this new staff and grounds, the school has been growing exceedingly better over the last four years. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and they are willing to make time to help any student that WANTS help. Like anything in life, you get what you put in. This school puts a lot of the elements in life that you need. It is up to the student to take those tools and put them to good use. I loved this school, and I hope that many more will be able to come and enjoy it too.

I have two students attending BCS, a ninth grader and a fourth grader. BCS is on the campus of First Baptist Church of Hemet. I believe that this school is a tremendous blessing for the community and especially for our students. I know that students are challenged with curriculum and Biblical morality. They are accountable for doing their work and won't find "extra credit" able to make up for not taking assignments seriously. I have communicated with the Bible teaching staff and have found them to be very contemporary in their approach, and orthodox/doctrinally correct. The entire staff maintains a balance between love and friendship with the students and uncompromising academic integrity. The administration is first rate. The school's administrator teaches seminary courses in Uganda, Africa during the summer and some of the senior high students have had the opportunity to travel and minister in Uganda as well! The church which offers this school is a church that is passionately pursuing Jesus Christ, in love and good works around the globe. BCS school has close ties with the very active youth outreach ministries of First Baptist Church. Its a joy to send my kids to this school!

The school is a great christian school. The teachers are all friendly. I love how they put God first in all they do. I highly recommend this school.

Here at BCS the staff are the best I have ever seen, they care for your child like they were their own. My child is in first grade, He reads, writes, and can do pretty much all assignments on his own. The administration is the best i have ever seen. Always courteous and informitive. Mr. Best is an inspiration of who i would like my child to be, I cannot say enough of the Baptist Christian School Staff. If you want a safe environment for your child you should consider BCS. The best school in Hemet. Christ centered Education and always Biblically Sound.

I attended this school from Kindergarten through 9th grade and had a wonderful experience. My teachers were supportive and prepared me for high school and college. My three daughters now attend this school: 1 in elementary and 2 in junior high. They have been at the school since preschool. I have great communication with their teachers and administration has under gone some recent changes. Mr. Senia and Mr. Best are both very approachable. The math scores that students get on standardized testing are great. Many seniors are able to "Clep" out of certain college math courses. Sciences at Jr high and high school are strong. Online science classes in Anatomy and Marine Biology are available to 10th-12th graders. Biology, Chemistry, & Physics are also available to high schoolers. The Christian testimony of the teachers is outstanding. I am glad my daughters have such great role models. The school recently implemented a K-12 online grade program that allows teachers and parents to keep track of grades and communicate through email. Great school!

Baptist Christian School is an excellent school with high standards and Christian Morals. Two of my children have graduated from there and went on to college ready for what was ahead of them. My other children are currently attending and I love knowing that they are surrounded by teachers and staff who give their all for this ministry and who see the education of each individual student as something important to be valued.

Baptist Christian is the best Christian school in the valley. The teachers are extremely educated and have values that show in their everyday life. I am blessed to have my child attend such a great school. In addition the campus and extracurricular activities far exceed what any other Christian school offers.

My grandson has attended Baptist Christian for the past 4 years, 2 years of preschool, kindergarten and is currently in 1st grade with Mrs. Fleming. I am amazed at what he has learned and continues to learn at this school. He definitely would not be at this level in a public school. I have nothing but praise for the caring dedication shown by the school and its staff.

I love this school!! My daugther had a wonderful time in her 1st grade with Mrs. Fleming. She received great Christian education and academic. Even though we had to leave this school for back to LA, we still miss this school and Mrs. Fleming.

There are great things about this school, such as; the emphasis on the Lord and good values. Some of the not so great things...they do not take health problems seriously and the communication chain is seriously broken. There are a lot of upgrades that need to be made, and at the cost of tuition should be able to be but aren't. Overall, dissatisfied & heartbroken about it.

I send my grandkids to this school and feel the education is superior to what the Hemet public school system has to offer

Posted October 7, 2007

I loved the atmosphere at this school, the kids are great, never had a problem with anyone. The education did prepare me for college. Weather or not the educatonal level was any higher at this school then others, but what sets it apart is the fact that you are held accountable for your education and there is very little lenience on this matter. The bottom line is baptist christian school is as close to college level as far as high schools go. You either do the work and do well, or you slack off and drop out there is no middle road here.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
