I am so happy with this school. They do not tolerate bullying. The teachers are good too.
This school is a definite work in progress. I personally went to this school almost every day for a semester for one of my high school classes. I saw what most of the parents did not. The teachers are very stressed from the budget crises and the work overload. These teachers are underpaid and yet they still managed to get up every weekday morning and go help these children learn. The principal is very thoughtful of these children and she does the best she can with what she has. These teachers are all about the students. I am personally thrilled that I had the chance to be with these teachers and children. I hope to be able to see them all grow to be very successful. I grew to love my teacher Ms. Glass and all of my students. They gave me reason to smile when I walked into the classroom door and heard an echo of "Ms. Ryan!!!" I love those kids and I know that all of them will exceed most of our expectations some day. Congratulations Jacob Weins!!! You have the cream of the crop!!!
When you look at the neighborhood this school is in it is amazing how much success there is. The entire staff works incredibly hard to try to improve the lives of each and every student.
The first 3 years were great then deterioration was incredible. Very few programs offered and ones stated are just that stated not done. Kudos given then find that they are retracted with shocking results. Very unorganized and attenpting to create change is met with resistence and shifting of responsibility that is very difficult to track.
My daughter was forced to go here due to boundery changes, I found the school very unorganized. My daughter felt discouraged because there was a language barrior, no communication in the classroom therefore making her learning experience unproductive.
