The staff cares, and loves the children. This school has a staff that enjoys their job. This is important to me, my grand children attend school here.

This school is awesome! The principal makes it a point to know what our kids are learning and what their interests are. He gets to know them! There are many programs. The GATE program is making my children very happy--they have different learning opportunities! All the teachers really care..

McSweeny Elementary is a wonderful school. My children are receiving a good education, and surrounded by caring teachers and an involved, supportive, and caring principal. The environment is fun and comfortable, and my kids love going to school there!

I have a child at this school. His first 3 years were great. Since the inception of a new principle and office staff things have gone down hill drastically. There are a few great teachers here but the administration leaves much to be desired. My child has had far less projects then my other children who attended other schools within the same district. The expectations at this school seem to be low. It's a very sad situation. They focus on test scores. Motivation from the 1st to the 5th year has dropped considerably. The new principal is not as involved and the front office staff leave a lot to be desired
