I am an alumni of this school. My overall experience there was great. I was in mostly honors and AP classes, and the teachers were unbelievably amazing. They took time to answer questions after class and were helpful and understanding. Hemet High also has a great performing arts department that I was extremely active in. From what I observed is that if the students did not put in the effort or maturity to be an active student, then they did not have an enjoyable experience. You can only reap what you sew.

I have put four children through Hemet High, and am grateful for the level of teacher dedication that my children have experienced. Yes, the demographics have changed significantly over the years, but the level of challenging curriculum has remained consistent. My children have left Hemet High ready to face the challenges of college. Thank You!

This is great school in a great town, but the low cost of housing has brought some rough elements. My child tells me the supervisors are handling security really well and she loves her classes and teachers. She is very challenged at school and the music department is incredible!

We transferred my son out of HHS after 10th grade because of the overcrowded classes and safety issues. Hated the school and the district the whole time. Glad we escaped.

My daughter has just completed 9th grade @ Hemet High & she has had caring teachers and no problems. I have heard this school had racial issues. My daughter is bi-racial and has had no problems what so ever. I am very pleased w/the school

There are huge safety issues at this school. There are many unprofessional teachers who do not inforce the rules. Everything is very political. If your child is to succeed, you have to play the teacher's game. Fairness, or actual ability is completly disregarded. Two of my children have graduated from HHS, and the third is attending there now. We are planning a move in my son's junior year, to get him out of this district.

There is an overwhelming safety issue going on at the school. This is getting worse every year.

Good after school sporting events and the teachers seem interested in the students.

My daughter attended the pre-school program at the high school and absolutely loved it. Mrs. Paulson is great with the kids and there was a lot of different projects to do and learn from.
