I love valle vista elementary school because the teachers are great and they worked with me to help my kids. Now we have a great principle who really cares about the kid and the staff.
I love Valle Vista Elementary because it has the coolest lunch ladies, super supervisors, and fantastic teachers who get to spend time with THE BEST STUDENTS in town!!
Valle Vista Elementary is great because the entire staff truly cares about the difference they can make in a child's life. They are very dedicated. I believe that success is a team effort and Valle Vista has proven this with by the actions of their Principal, teachers, office staff, supervisors, lunch ladies and custodians. My children are better because of this school! Great job Valle Vista!
As with any school there are a few problems, however with recent test scores climbing, it is evident change is coming for the better. Most of the teachers are very active and involved. The lack of extracurricular activities can be attributed to the budget, not lack of interest. My children love this school, and we have had no problems at all.
Valle Vista's 2009 unofficial state test scores recently came in at 818! This is 57 points higher than last year and is deinitely attributed to excellent leadership with new administration, increased teacher morale, parent participation, student attendance, and attitude and motivation. As a parent, I am extremely happy with how the school has changed over this past year and I am looking forward for what is to come. Congratulations Valle Vista~the school is off to a great start for a new school year!
I wish I could give a better average for Valle Vista. But it has gone down hill with leadership. Valle Vistas scores have been low for two years in a row. It excelled at one point. Valle Vista use to be one big happy family. Not anymore.
We are very unhappy with the lack of communication through out the school. The school can't seem to hold on to a principal and it shows in the ever declining test scores. There is a major safety problem with this school with unqualified personnel. Forget about any sort of extra-currucular acitivies, they seem to be non-exsistent. Thank goodness this is our last year here!
Two of my children have attended Valle Vista Elementary and have found great success there. The staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is conducive to learning. Great School.
My two children have gone to Valle Vista for three years and we love the school, it has great teachers and a wonderful staff, all the students are great.
Valle Vista is a rather large school with a diverse population--a portion of the surrounding area is well off, while portions are very poor. As far as parent involvement, the well-off seem to dominate, especially as far as decision making. The teachers overall are okay, with some being outstanding and others that I would not allow my child to be in their classroom. It definitely makes a difference as to who you get as a teacher! They have a GATE program which overall is overrated, but if your child does get in , it assures you of getting some of the better teachers.
