API Scores are down! Surprize Surprize! Who would have guessed? When the director causes such "DRAMA" right before testing what should anyone expect.

Somehow I don't think the previous entry was from a teacher. Let's hope not, with such atrocious grammar, poor spelling and punctuation. What do you teach- Ignorance 101?

I am A teacher at another school and recieve the lost children when the parents pull them out. Which happens more then not. They usally well except for one are very far behind. It takes a lot of work on teachers and parents to get a student back up. The teachers and staff say they are great but notice they have a right as a charter school to opt out of showing test scores. If they have nothing to hide then where are the test scores. Parents I can honestly say that if you are thinking of sending your student there don't If you have your student there get them out. Please listen to this word of advice the district can't shut down a charter school it is next to impossiable so shut them down by pulling your student.

I find it extreemly suspect that each time someone posts something negative a "teacher" posts something positive and blames the negative on a disgruntled employee. My daughter used to attend this school and because of many issues, mostly administration I felt it necessary to remove her. Parents do your research, call the school district of any school you plan to send your child to and find out what complaints have been filed. If there is this much drama with any shcoo,l for this many years, something is not right.

After some more thought here is where I stand. It is true, because anyone can post on this site who knows who is "reporting". For all anyone knows, especially the most recent posts, it could be the very disgruntled teachers who are leaving these venemous posts. As I tell my students, never rely on just one source of information. So, you may start here but please DO research. As a teacher, I know that some of our amazing children depend on what we provide and it is upsetting that, because of pettiness, those children who really need what we provide will be the losers.

The comment about teachers starting their own school is offencive and childish! Whoever posted that is a poor example for the students to see. I mean challenging the teachers on a public website? Is that the responisble thing to do. I know that most of the current staff sets a great example for the children.

This school has really helped me do well on my SATS and i have been here since seventh grade. I jave few complaints about this school but one is the massive teacher turnover, The school is destroying itself by hiring a whole new batch of terachers. And the hush hush attitude is nerve racking

My son is a 6th Grader. The school has gone through a lot of changes, some good, some bad...all in all, I think they have fared very well, and probably learned some valuable lessons through the process. They got a whole new staff this year. It was great because everyone was starting off without all the 'baggage' of the past. The middle school teaching team is awesome! The ladies in the office are genuinely friendly and accommodating. When I'm on campus, I love to see the little kids running up to the staff members and giving them hugs! It feels like a family. And that's the feeling that keeps us here. This school has the potential to be excellent, and I see it moving in that direction. I'm glad to be a part of it!
