I saw a huge transformation in my teenage son once we pulled him out of his public high school and placed him in SLAHD. This school is fantastic! His grades soared from failing to A's across the board! His attitude changed too- I began to see him change into a gentleman full of respect, honor, and discipline! Even he says that this school changed his outlook on life...I cannot praise this school and staff enough. Jennie Solis- Rodriguez

I am writing on behalf of the Parent Advisory Board at Summit Leadership Academy. I am very proud of this school and all it offers for our children here in the High Desert. The discipline, morals, standards, motivation, leadership, and team work are all things I want my son to be a part of . I would be proud to help with the activities and the fundraising at Summit , as I am proud that my son is attending this school and being a part of it. Thank you to all who are making this school what it is today. Keep up the good work. Holly Doyle

This school far exceeded my expectations. My son seemed lost in a sea of pupils at his previous high school. His grades were struggling. When we moved to Hesperia, we enrolled our son and discovered a school that values each and every pupil. Academics, along with morals and respect are taught here. My son now has 4 A's and 3 B's and his future seems bright.

This school instills great leadership qualities in todays teens. The teachers have a strong desire to see that all Summit students are successful. By believing in them and showing them their own potential, they have strengthened the students level of confidence. I think thats important.

This is a great school. As a part of it's Color Guard, I can tlel you that yes, there are extracurricular activities. The teachers here make sure you understand that the student understands 100% of what they're being taught, and will relentlessly ensure that, even after the final bell has rung.

I am very impressed with this school. My son had a difficult time in jr. high and never did homework,I had to check his work nightly and then he still did not turn it in. Then he decided he wanted to go to this school. I am so happy because now he has almost straight a's. I never check his homework, because he has accepted that responsibility. He has a goal and is working toward it. He loves the drill team and is proud of his school, uniform and direction he is headed toward in life. Also, I work for snowline and chose this school over Serrano. The scores are showing this school is right behind Serrano and moving up fast. So thank you for helping my student..

The school does not offer any programs for either advanced students or support for the struggling ones. No music, no art, and no extracurricular activities other than bowling.

This is my sons first year at Summit Leadership Academy. This has been good for him. It teaches students to be a team, responsibility, respect and much more.It is tougher than the public schools the standard is much higher. I love the fact that my son is in a school that the students must behave like ladies and gentlemen. My son loves the field trips and the special speakers they have on the campus. This is an awesome school.
