I graduated a year early from Mojave in 2002. It was the best experience ever. The teachers and office staff were wonderful and made sure they really got to know each and every student. They were always there any time anyone needed something and really encouraged students to do well. Upon graduating I received many awards and scholarships which helped build my confidence and pointed me in the right direction. I am currently attending college and don't think I would have ever considered it if it weren't for the motivation I received at this school. They did an excellent job at making learning fun and also provided the opportunity for students to get involved in sports.
Mojave High School is a place where students who did not fit in at other schools can find success. The caring staff recognize that all students are valuable human beings needing to find themselves and assist these students in realizing their dreams. The staff is committed to being student advocates who ensure the students will receive the tools and guidance to acheive their goals.
This school is a school full of second chances. When everyone else gives up on a kid, Mojave takes them in and helps them graduate. Yes we have the drugies and young mom's, but everyone makes mistakes and sometimes just needs help. The office staff and teachers are very nice and always want to know how they can help you, they always ask how your doing and care about their students. Get to know the kids and the school before you judge. The environment is way different than other schools.
The teachers are great with the students. They spend a lot of one on one time with them. And they build a relationship with them.
Great school, Allows students to work at their own pace. Some students actually graduate ahead of time.
