Excel Prep Charter School 1

Moreno Valley Campus-This school is a disaster. The teachers are very good. They are professional, work hard, and care about their work and their students. The administration is terrible. Things change daily and teachers are berated and put down constantly. Teachers are in tears often. Grades are watered down and do not reflect competitive standards from other schools. Behavior problems run rampant because administration does not want to be bothered by them. They do not adhere to their own "Zero Tolerance" policy at all. Class sizes are large, services for students are not provided because there is not the staff for it, and it is very unorganized. All the student is to upper management is a paycheck.

My son attends the Excel Prep Charter in Moreno Valley. He is a third grader and I am very pleased with this school academically wise. The after-school program is amazing. I love the fact that they offer a mentoring program for the kids and that they are promoting college education in elementary. I Love A Great School. I made a change from a paid private school to a charter school and they offer so much more. Educated Parent, MIOSHI WALLACE

This school is great! I always see the kids having a great time. They go on fieldtrips, have music classes and really work with the kids who need extra help.

Excel Prep Charter School is an excellent school! I recommend this school to all parents and students. The teachers and staff are great! They are highly-qualified and very committed to helping each student learn. I've personally seen students who were struggling with learning disabilities and low self-esteem, improve their grades, raise test scores, and gain self-confidence from being at Excel. I've never heard teachers call students "monkeys' or any other bad name. If anything respect, character education, diversity are highly encouraged. Overall, excel is a wonderful place for students and families! The school is safe, structured, and teaches students the skills they need to excel in school and life.

Not a good school; dont fall for the hype. The children do not learn at this school. Instead they learn bad behavior. They are called monkeys by the teachers. Children are constantly removed from the school by the parents due to dissatification with teaching and/or administration. No yard to play on.
