This school is up to standards! ive been very impressed wtih all of my son's teachers, especially his kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Saldivar has blessed my son with confidence in school, I will never forget her! I recommend this school to everyone!
Overall I have beeb very impressed with the school and the parent involvement. My son is in the dual emersion kinder class. I have had great communication with his teacher. It has also been easy to communicate with adminstration and issues have been resolved rapidly.
My child has just started kindergarten. Thus, far I have been impressed with the teacher, school and class sizes. My child is an interdistrict transfer. I'm glad I went the extra mile to pick the right school for him. I am very pleased.
So far I am disappointed with the way the school is handling new kinders. We couldn't request a teacher, they are not allowing teachers to send out letters to the students introducing themselves- instead we have to go find the list posted in a hallway with who our chilren have as a teacher, 3 days before school- tacky!! I hope this is not the beginning of a nightmare!
This is a great school with some amazing teachers.
My children have attended this school from kindergarten through 5th grade. Most of the teachers are excellent, with only a couple that lack enthusiasm. They more than meet the standards, and are motivated to assist academically challenged students. However, their meager GATE program (4th and 5th grades, only) has deteriorated to almost nothing during 8 years my children have attended. There is no voice on the PTA for the GATE program. Their brightest stars are being neglected. One can only hope that this problem will not continue to be ignored in the coming years.
This school needs more supervisors in the yard. gates need to be closed during school so that parents as well as outsiders need to check in and sign in at the door before entering the school. Over all as I can see I've had very good response from teachers as well as the wounderful principal at this school.
