Imperial Beach Elementary School

This is a great community school. We've been very happy. It's a diverse school which we like. Teachers have been great. My son is thriving. Imperial beach is a great little town, with a great community school.

This school leaves something to be desired. There are a lot of good people and it's too bad they've let it go to waste. The grounds exterior is quite scruffy. The yard duty barks at the children all throughout lunch. A lot of resources go to behavioral and ESL students, more than goes to actual academic progress, as shown on thier STAR reports. This school needs a breath of fresh air, a major exterior clean-up to inspire pride and to raise the bar.

I had two kids in this extraordinary elementary, all the staff it's great! the teacher are very accessibles with any question or matter about the childrens and alway help you with the develop of the kids. the secretaries are very pleasant and make you filleng very good in any time, and the principal are realy good. I'm very impresive with this school. Thanks team.

My son is a third grader at IB Elementary. I am very pleased and impressed with the teachers. They really care about the kids. My son really likes it here. We moved from VA and he made friends right away.

We love this school..my 2nd grade daughter used to cry & beg me not send her to school in 1st grade at her old school, but from Day One, she has loved it here!! Up, happy & ready to go every day!! She is being challenged, instead of punished for her thrist to learn. Her teacher uses fun extras to help the kids experience what is being taught...It has been a wonderful change for my child!

Two of my children attend IB elementary and both are thriving. I was worried because of our move that they would not adjust well. They were welcomed into the school and within a week it was like they had been there all year. The teachers have been fantastic.

My son has had the greatest experience of his school life, he has leran alot from Ms. Luckey, I personally believe she is one of the greatest teachers that I have encountared

This school is reaching its potential! You can tell that that principal and teachers are working hard to uplift the kids of the school and the community. The principal is very approachable and the office ladies are helpful. Most of the teachers are just wonderful.

My daughter learned so much and loved her teacher in kinder Ms Young and Ms Day and also enjoyed Ginger.
