Eisenhower is a school which is rising to the necessity of improvement! Under its new Principal, Mrs. Krammer, programs are being implemented which reflect the school's upward movement. Teachers, who have been dedicated from the onset, are now even more involved and intent on helping students improve their skills. Since ESL students had been a high concentration, movement may have been slower than other schools from the beginning, however, this has all been addressed, or is currently being addressed. Eisenhower continues its upward movement in test scores. The teachers are all wonderful! (okay, there might be a few sour pusses around, but not many!) This year the After School ASES program is shining with new flesh 'blood' and the improvement is great! Eisenhower is a school where children smile a lot while they learn. Scores are going UP. Keep an eye on them and you will see!

I just moved from Desert Hot Springs one month ago. My son was attending Two Bunch Palms Elementary and now he is going to Eisenhower Elementary. Since he has been there he has improved tremendously. He is now reading, he knows all his high frequency words, his alphabet, and his numbers. All this I believe is because Eisenhower is a better school. My son's teacher is wonderful. I truly believe that she has made a difference in my son's education. The staff in the office is not that polite or courteous but that is not something that really worries me because my son's interaction with them is minimal. I noticed that the school does have security cameras on-site which is great. I did not see security cameras at my son's other school. I feel very blessed to have my child attend Eisenhower Elementary

Eisenhower is an excellent school with terrific staff and Principal. I have been here since past three years. The office secretaries as so friendly. It is very untrue what others have written. All the teachers are just wonderful , co operative, they don't treat parents like kids. No way.Principal is so much involved and friendly , easy to talk. All teachers are just great !!! Please don't write lies about teachers who teach your kids and put so much effort in their lives.

I am a teacher at Eisenhower and the two most recent reviews are extremely misleading. In fact, the one posted in August actually contains false information. We do have art and music. Students have music with a credentialed music teacher once a week in the upper grades, and biweekly in the primary grades. As for art, we have a program called Meet the Masters where students create art projects based on the works of famous artists like Picasso and Monet. It is true that we are the lowest ranked school in our district, and no one wants to change that more than the teachers! We are doing everything in our power to improve. One reviewer said that we are intolerant and impatient. For the majority, this simply isn't true! And why is school safety a concern? Be specific. There have been no incidences that I can think remember.

Lowest ranked school in the district. School safety is big concern! No art or music programs allowed at this school. Children are learning how to be test-takers.

Dont send your child to this school If you have the option. My child has been attending this school since kindergarden and I know the staff and the principle well. The staff are not tolerant or patient with the students and they treat the parents as though we are children. School saftey is not closely monitored.

Since 1990 I've had four children attend Eisenhower School. All have been successful students because of the excellent teachers, principal and parent support. Eisenhower School is very well organized and offers all the necessary tools for success.
