This is my first year of with this school and so far I am very satisfied with the academic standards. I feel that the teachers are genuinely concern about the students. However, as with most schools, the students must learn to take responsibility for their own work. Parent participation at this school is always welcome and I feel that the principal really understands the necessity of the student/teacher/parent relationship. Even though the school is small in comparison, this is beautiful because it allows the teachers to teach the class and individual students as necessary. I would recommend this school to parents who are looking for a school that will challenge their child academically to prepare them for college. My child love the school and so far I'm pleased.

This is a great school. It has a lot of programs to offer for students such as the national honor society, girls state and boys state , etc which all look good on college applications. The teachers care and try to get the students prepared as much as they can for college. There is a music class where the kids put on a lot of assemblys for the kids. There is an art club where a lot of the students express themselves. There are many other clubs and sports offered to the students. Parent involvement is very high and it is a great school!

Personally, I felt that at this school only two teachers genuinely cared about students, Mrs. Sharon Elliot and Mrs. Jo Anne Gonzalez. They took the time to help students with their work and personal issues, where as other teachers could have cared less about what was happening to you academically or personally. At the time that I was there, the only things that students had access too in terms of music was choir, which was fun for me because I liked singing. In terms of art, there were not many art classes available, except for being on the yearbook committee. In terms of sports, they had the usual sports (football, basketball,etc.). Parental involvement consisted of volunteering at the thrift shop...
