Lots of choices in Irvine, but I would only consider Woodbridge for my kids. Great teachers, great location, great school!

There is something for every student. I have had four kids attend Woodbridge and all have been able to excel in their own areas, be that sports, academics, and clubs. It is a very balanced school! The administration is also very responsive.

Woodbridge is a great school. My child has blossomed here. The teachers really care about the students; there is something here for everyone. Kudos to the parents, as well. They are very involved with the school.

The teachers are actually structured compared to some other schools. They aren't over bearing but don't slack on thier students either.

Woodbridge is, arguably, one of the most well-rounded high schools in the prestigious Irvine District. Academics are very important, but character and extracurricular count too. The teachers are experienced and seem to care about their pupils. My daughter wishes that the school had a speech and debate program, with clubs and classes though.

I am a student at this school. This school has a decent balance between academics and sports. Especially there sports program are very good. Also they are the top ranked in the top 1000 as I had read. Parental involvement is quite strong. As well as it has a rank of 10. Compared to the schools anywhere else, I would recommend this school for students who want to have a balanced life.

Both my daughters went to this school, and have become successfull, fulfilled women because of it. My hard work may have had a little something to do with it, and the community is very supportive and on top of it's children as students, but I have the highest respect for Woodbridge teachers and other faculty. Thank you for making my kids be the best they could be!

Woodbridge high school is in a great location, in irvine a great family community. It's education program is excellent, although the student teacher ratio isn't the greatest. Fun activities and great athletics! There is all kinds of intrumental programs, chior programs, art groups and clubs and a wide variety of sports.

About the tests


In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
