Ione Junior High School

This school has greatly improved over the last few years. At first I was hesitant to let my child attend. Now my youngest is in 8th grade and getting a very good education for such a small community. The teachers are wonderful. competent and compassionate.

I am very happy with this school. The campus is always clean and very welcoming. The new classrooms are wonderful. Staff is great, teachers are hard, and work very hard to prepare my kids for Amador high school. Mr. Webb is a fantastic Algerbra teacher. Our math scores are the highest in the county. My son is writing a ton, and that makes me happy. Good Job Ione Junior High.

This school might be dirt poor but i had some of the best experiences here. most of the teachers were awesome (minus a few but thats a given) i loved the 3 years i had there and i wouldn't trade them for the world, what we lack in money is what we make up for in hard work and personality

Our son is currently enrolled at IJH (07-08) as an 8th grader, and we have had nothing but good experiences. The teachers are cooperative, administrator is involved, and the support staff is excellent. We firmly believe that our son is prepared for high school, and look forward to our daughter attending in 08-09.

Thi school is so awesome, kids may be a little uhm...weird but I love them and I Love goign here! Rock on 8th graders! Your all the Best! I believe that this school is under control and the teachers are great. We have a great school going on here and we hope for it to get even better! I love you Ione Jr. High School!
