Kerman-Floyd is a great school. I have been very lucky that my children have had wonderful teachers. The teachers and staff are very friendly and have great attitudes. No, school is perfect and we can always find something to complain about. But as a parent who participates in the classroom, PTC and fieldtrips, I feel that the teachers are very patient and understanding and have the best interests of the children in mind. The educational programs to me have been excellent. My children have been doing well with the new program. I have seen children who were struggling now able to be at grade level. I don't think we can blame the teachers or school for every child who is struggling. As parents it is our job to help keep our children on track and work with them at home. Without parents help, children will struggle and have a harder time
This school needs more teacher-student involvement.
Kerman floyd elementary is a great school for most kids, but it's special education day class is a joke compared to what the children should receive, the school board should hold special education teachers to at least the standards they hold other teachers.
