Im a student at KHS, and i know where some of the bad reviews are coming from. Yes, your child is motivated, but maybe they aren't motivated enough. At KHS, they make you want good grades, and there is encouragement every where. I am currently a senior, pulling 3 AP Classes, about 5 clubs and I'm the Drum Major for the band...and i still have time for the hours of study and homework. This school gives you a work out, and makes you want a future. Yes, it does revolve around athletics and FFA...because its in the freaking country!! That is all there is out here!! But there is also a large influence on sciences and literature, which is perfectly fine with me :)

This school needs a lot of improvement. The involvement with the kids is so poor.

Kerman High is a great school for gifted and talented young people. My child is involved in band, leadership and plays on three varsity sports as a sophomore. She is also a member of Block K, Pulse and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. With all that is going on in her life she still manages to carry a 3.85 GPA.

My two daughters assist KHS and they are disgusted by it. The school also revolves around athletes. The principal is not so involved with the students. Parents are very enthusiastic mostly during homecoming. The town is great, the school system is not.

I honestly do miss Kerman High School. I was constantly involved in Band and FFA as well as serving at the 2005-2006 Chapter Sentinel this past year. The only complaint i have is that being more strict on Homework and teach more on essays. I am now attending Heald College and my biggest problem was typing a essay the proprer and not getting marked down. Overall Kerman High School is a good school and if i ever have children i will take them there.

I graduated from Kerman High and I KNOW that this school is wonderful. There are no fights, no gangs, no drugs, and the staff is wonderful.

My daughter who graduated from KHS in 05, attened all four years. She is now a Honors Student at Fresno City. This school is a very good school. The class sizes are about 24, they have a great vocational program,FFA, and the teachers are very supportive and helpful. This school is a hidden gem.
