I am pulling my children out too. The school does not respect or value parents concerns. The new PE teacher is very tempermental and benches the entire classroom for one child's misbehavior. The curriculum is based on getting the test scores up and not educating children.

It's okay. I might be pulling my daughter from this school. I'm not happy with their services.

This is one of the best schools in the country. Its like a private school, with all the academic and extracurricular rigor, plus the cultural and racial diversity found in the best public schools.

LCE is a good school but falls short in terms of teacher/child ratio given its reputation as an outstanding school. The principal, Yvette Ellis, is wonderful! She truly understands children and advocates for them. The school has tremendous parent involvement and support. The neighborhood is conservative and expections for the children are very high but the student population is less interesting than one would expect given the tremendous resources of the area. The onsight before- and after-care program, provided by the Child Educational Center (CEC) is amazing. The CEC knows how to meet children's needs as well as their parents'.

Excellent school in an excellent district with stellar on-site after school care. Many teachers live in the town, parents are very involved, and the community prioritizes academic achievement.

Outstanding school, school is renowned for its academic progress. Many available programs for children in the various grades. This school, like the others in the city, really pushes academics. From what I've seen, there is a great deal of parent involvement, which is wonderful to see and makes a big difference.
