All Hallows Academy (AHA) is an outstanding catholic school. Focused on academics and helping parents raise good people. Not afraid to teach kids right from wrong. I'm most impressed with the level of parental involvement in the classroom and with extra-curricular activities (Theater, Sports, Cultural Arts, Field Trips, & Community Outreach). The parents are a major factor in making this school great. This is our seventh year as parents at AHA. We have 4 kids in grades 2 - 8. The best value for a private school in La Jolla!

Our child attended All Hallows Academy, La Jolla for over a year, K through beginning of 1st grade. We found that it had (a) no real investment in the well being of our child, (b) no problem solving strategy when confronted with issues between children, and (c) invested more in their own self-interest than in doing what was truly best for the children involved. We came to believe that was lots of fluff, with a lack of inclusiveness and self-consistency.

We are extremely happy at AHA, primarily because of the small size, the caring teachers, principal and staff and the sense of community. The facilities have been substantially upgraded and are amazing.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
