We moved into this community from a city with a great school district. We were very hopeful that we would find an environment where our child could thrive academically. Sadly, our experience at Del Valle has been frustrating. Our child has been in classroom after classroom that is preoccupied with disciplinary issues at the expense of academic studies. State testing seems to be another priority for the school and yet another area where Del Valle falls short. The average on the state tests is well below the average for the rest of the state's schools. Our child's score was way above the average, no thanks to Del Valle. My wife and I are currently seeking another school in the district that has something/anything to offer our child.
