Moulton is not a bad school but we do have concerns about playground safety. Young children should not be allowed to play soccer without adequate supervision. It is a sports involving a lot of body contact. Our son was bullied and injured there and had to see a doctor, but we didn't even receive a phone call reporting the incident. Our younger son was also injured at the preschool playground - he had 4 stitches!!!! Again, no apology from school! The passed two years hadn't been easy for us. We finally decided to transfer to another school.
I wrote the "Sept 17, 2010" post. Here is my update. a. The front office staff (Ms. Stucky and Ms. Baker) are quite impressive. Even though there are over 700 students in this school (and I'm not a regular volunteer), they know me and my daughter by name. They also know (without looking it up) what grade she's in, and who her teacher is. And if you need anything, they try to get things done right away. b. Due to the budget cuts (understandable), my daughter's class size is 32. Regardless, her teacher maintains a very informative website, and sends home a weekly communication sheet that tells parents what the kids have been learning and what they're about to learn. I appreciate her efforts very much. c. The parent volunteers, the PTA and the RMIQ Foundation have helped make this school a solid place to learn. Aside from Math, Reading and Writing, she also has Music, Science, Art Masters, PE, Running club, Computer class (once in a while) and a field trip.
My son moved here in the middle of his 1st grade year. He still continues to excel academically and looking forward to 5th grade next school year! His teachers were just the best in the district. We are just glad to be members of the Moulton family!
The amazing teachers and parent-supported program extras keep this school wonderful despite tight times!
Moulton Rocks!!! Teachers, Parents and Students are second to none!
Because the staff is truely dedicated to teaching the children and helping them move forward.
Because the teacher really care about the kids and you have lot of parents that give of there time to help out the teacher and the kids.
I Love Moulton, they have the Best Teachers, Parents, and Mrs. Culbertson has done tremendous things to make our school excellent!!
The Teachers are great, the staff is amazing and the families that help with the fundraisers and our Annual Carnival are what makes our school special. Moulton has had a good standing in our community since it opened in the 70's and it has continued on through the years. I am also a big fan because my brothers and I attended Moulton as well as my nieces and now my daughters are attending Moulton and I hope that they someday can tell their children that they too went to Moulton when they walk their children to school.
Moulton is a tight knit family school, we have phenomenal dedicated teachers who give our children a great learning experience each day. We also have the best PTA, with parents who give of themselves and provide up to date technology, art and music programs to make our school the great campus it is.
