had the best time of my life at this school , teachers are amazing
My son is highly prepared for college due to the high standards, AP courses, access to community college courses, the FFA program and the diverse academic and athletic programs that are available. If a student at Kern Valley is genuinly interested in persuing an area of interest, then the opportunity to do so is available. This is but one of the many benefits of a small, rural school. The administration, teachers, staff and booster organizations know the students and are supportive and encouraging. This school presents opportunities for students to develop their personal best.
Kern Valley High is not that great of a school. The rules are too strict. You cant be your own person here. The teachers are great, but the rules are too strict. Ask Mrs. Tuttle and Mrs. Kelly, two of the schools most respected teachers, about Mrs. Brachears rules. The cop on campus is a little overboard, we have security guards and a cop.
