TDS is a wonderful school. The teachers in the Special Ed program are fantastic and very dedicated to each student. My daughter is thriving at TDS. The music program under Ms. Vildebill is amazing as well.

My child went to this school for about two months before we had to remove her from the school due to outrageous bullying. We brought it to the principal's after the first incident of her publicly being threatened and nothing was done to help her. I do not recommend this middle school.

my son was put in an honors class ,i was not sure how i felt about this not thinkink my son should be in it,but he excelled in math and all his classes.He made the principal's honoroll all year.

My experience with having a child at TDS has been amazing. It is a small school with attention to each student. We moved from a very populated area to for the purpose of our children getting indiviidualized attention in their accedemic endeavors are are very pleased with the level of education that they received at TDS. We moved from POWAY to LAKESIDE because we knew that they would receive exceptional attention here. This is the place to take your kids, unless you plan on home schooling.

I love TDS the atmospere is wonderful. Dram and ktds morning announcements were really fun the teachers are awesome there. i am really going to miss it there

TDS was very lucky this year to have Vice Principal, Melanie Marks. I am sure going to miss her and how lucky Julian Charter is to get her. I was worried with the new principal because I thought Mr. Nichols was wonderful and it was sad to see him go but Mr. McDuffie has done a wonderful job. I'm glad my child gets to go to TDS!

I have 3 children that have attended TdS. I have found our experience with TdS positive. This year we have a new principal and under his leadership there have been significant improvements on the campus, in the classroom and in administration. There is also an AP program in the works, a newly formed lacrosse team, an excellent free after school program, LATER, an active PTSA, an outstanding drama program and a dedicated ASB. The AVID program has produced not only several Padre scholar award recipients but also the AVID teacher of the county. TdS is well rounded and a great place for kids to learn.

TdS is an awesome school with great teachers offering Lakeside students both academic and enrichment courses that engage students and promote learning experiences. I am impressed with TdS'ART program it is wonderful! It is so important for a school to offers both Art and Music programs :)not many do so. Thanks TdS teachers for the great job you all do! Kuddos to the AVID program - it certainly has helped students to be prepared for high school and future.

TDS is a great school, I would definitely choose it over LMS or Greenfield. There's an outstanding drama and ASB program, and the teachers are great. AVID is also a program offered which helps prepare students for high school and college, and can be continued at El Capitan High School. There's also a lot of parent involvement.
