Excellent school! My child is currently attending her 6th year here,5th grade and she loves it. She enjoys the people in her grade and as well as the people in the other classes. Parents are great at helping out and staff makes sure they're keeping children safe as possible. Since the population isn't very much children all know each other and socializing with other classes is easy. Staff and parents are very friendly and the children are sweet children. My child finds it a bit challenging but she likes that it's not easy. I would recommend you send your children/child here.

We came to this jewel of a Parish School last year.y child is in 5th grade and we love it. She has learned so much! She loves the great green fields to play in. The teachers have been professional and kind. The administration cares so much and I appreciate that so much. Father Joe is wonderful. The students in middle school are being prepare for college and life. The community supports many wonderful charities and the kids lead the way. The music program is outstanding. PE and all sports activities are rigorous but fun. If you are looking for a school to help you raise a fantastic young person, come check it out. You'll love our Principal, too!

Our son recently started the EK program at St. Pancratius School and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience so far. The learning experience is exceptional to anything I've seen coming out of public schools. On a daily basis we, as parents, are invited into my son's learning and social experience at St. Pans on a level that has far surpassed my and my husband's expectations. One added note: we've recently joined the parish community of St. Pancratius as well as the school, and I am blown away by the support the parish lends to the school on a weekly basis. The parish and school community combined literally "took over" the Applebees in Lakewood a couple of weeks ago for a school eating-out fundraiser. When I complained to the manager that my service on that night was sub-par, the manager informed me that when they usually hold these fundraisers for schools and the like, that they usually only need to add one more server to handle the traffic, which is usually only 20 or so more people. St. Pans overran Applebees that night....and it was great to see!

Think twice before you send your child to this school, you are better off going to public school.

Leadership is not lost @ St. Pan, their new principal is steering the school back to the days where nuns ruled. I would normally applaud this, but new rules, regulations & infractions seemed to be handed out quite freely this past 2013-2014 school year. Please make note to read the parent handbook carefully before joining this school community. Be forewarned that some of the administrative staff have issues with listening to parents and we experienced graded work not being posted on website several time during the school year. With any school be ready to be your childs advocate, speak up and be heard. You are making a huge commitment to send your child to a private school and it should be a partnership between you, your child & the school community. Make all your efforts count!

Where has the leadership gone. As a parent and alumni I do no recommend this school anymore. With the coming of the new principal came a lot changes (for the worse). She is not a mother and therefore tries to enforce tough changes on the kids. The teachers walk around and don't greet the parents who are paying for their salaries. I gotta say this year is my last.

Service hours are way too high for working parents, there is far too many early dismissals and "off: school days, which make it very difficult for working parents to arrange daycare for "1" day! The school could use some remodeling and there is a lot of misc. fees and purchases needed throughout the year. Staff and teachers are great and caring! They make a good effort in teaching the children.

I have been at this school now for 4 years. I have to say the education is excellent! The kids are all a communtiy with each other. It is a very safe enviroment. The tution is low compared to all the other private schools. The 40 service hours are not hard to complete. Both my husband and I work and they give many opportunities throughout the year. The Festivial in Sep is so much fun, We work it every year and get our hours and at the same time meet so many people. If you are looking for a great school you should call and take a tour! I have a 3rd and 1st grader and my youngest will be there in 2 years.!

This school is OK, not to the nicest or newest buildings, in fact the whole school could use a little "face lift", new lunch benches, etc..but the education, as far as I've seen is at an acceptable level. The one thing that I find absolutely ridiculous is the number fo service hours required from the parents! 40 hours/year is A LOT for households with 2 full-time working parents. And if they are not completed by April, parents get charged $40/hr for the unserved hours, mind you tuition is pretty high and they aslo add a "fund-raiser" fee to each month...seriously thinking of switching my children to another school.

I am a current parent of St.Pancratius. I have two children that attend this school,as well as a niece and nephew. I think that the school is excellent. The students are well rounded. They have a great and new computer lab. They also have a computer in each classroom for the students to use. Many great activites for the students to get involved in. I feel the education is excellent. My daughter is in Kindergarten and can read very well. She is doing excellent in math. My son who is in 2nd grade is excelling in reading, math and history. Parents are very involved on all levels. Staff is great. Principal is excellent, great communication with students and parents. Father Joe the Paster is very invloved with the school. My nephew graduated and is excelling in HighSchool. My Niece is on the High Honor roll in 8th. I recommend this school!

I attended this school from K-8 and loved it. We had about 9 rigorous subjects and teachers that all cared. Sure, you might not get the perfect teacher everytime, but overall it was good. I loved the uniforms and wish I did not attend a public high school. Also, the grading system is rigorous because A's start at 94%, prompting kids to work harder. I loved this school and the faculty and principals were nice. I really enjoyed it on a whole.. a few kids were mean, but that's not the school's fault!

I sent my daughter to this school from 6th grade on and I am glad I did. The education level is higher. Her confidence level improved and she a lot more motivated. Overall I am happy with the school and staff as they offer education and moral values for today's kids. Love the uniforms too,

School relies on computer program for Reading Comprehension grades. When the computer was not working students were basically penalized. I didn't see enough writing in the older grades. I was constantly surprised what my children said was discussed in classe. Not enough communication when there was a problem in a subject area. I always felt I found out too late that my child was not performing in a subject area. Nonsensical uniform rules. Principal very unresponsive to parental concerns regarding conflicts and uniforms. Saw discipline dispensed unfairly. Extracurricular activities available. Parents who put a lot of time into the school are unappreciated. I suspect that parents of younger grades are less involved than older grades. If I had to do it over again, I would have taken my kids out in the 5th/6th grade and sent them to another school for a change of scene.

I sent all three of my children to St. Pancratius and they have all come out of it with the type of friendships and experiences that last a life time. The sense of community and family feeling is unlike any other around. -Chaunte

I had my children attending this school and found myself unsatisfied with the administration. Poor administration and discipline were the two areas where I saw the biggest promblems. The staff is very personable and it seems to me it is them that run the school.

My child has attended this school from Kindergarten to his current year, 8th grade. It is a great school with a lot of parent involvement. The principal knows many of the parent's and children's names. The academics are excellent and the kids can get involved in many extracurricular activites in music, art, and sports. There is a feeling of family and community in the school.

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
