Our daughter transferred here last year, mid-term and loves it!! The staff have been EXCELLENT in all the times I have had to contact the school for either questions, problems, etc;. Not to say we have had any problems. This year with our new Principal, Mr. Guerro, things are running at an outstanding pace!!

I loved My older sons 5th Grade teacher, Mrs. Fife. She is one of the best teachers I have ever met. She was kind and caring, while still keeping complete control of her class. She made my son enjoy going to school and made him enjoy learning. I also loved his 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Hicks, and his 4th grade teacher, Mr. Dione. My younger son attended Kindergarten last year and is now in 1st grade. I like both of his teachers as well. So in all, the school may be located in what some might say is a :bad part of town', but the teachers at Tierra Bonita care a whole lot more about their students then teachers that I have dealt with in other schools.

I have 2 children that attend this school. I would like the teachers to be focused on some inner personal and social skills and worry less about 4 hours of homework per night for a 6 year old child. Its sad the way society has changed and the teachers seemed to be caught in the middle sometimes. Not very happy with this school at all...

When my children went to this school, 2 yrs ago, they had a good time. The school is definitely focused on academics.
