Since adding the new princible into the mix this school has changed tremendously. I love the way he is focused on our number one concern. The children. Thank you.

Monte Vista is a great school. I love the office staff and teachers. They always go above and beyond for my kids.

This school is horrible i don't recommend children going there. The office is rude the principle is a sorry excuse for a disciplinarian and they are understaffed and not up to speed with normal education. Below average in many many academics and the teachers so far have been very careless when it comes to recess and activity supervision.

I used to go to this school and I believe it has come along way since I went here, the one thing that concerns me is that, and this is going along all over the country is the class size, other than that I believe this is a good school to send your kids.

Staff was very knowledgable and friendly. School is very well maintained and my kids love their teachers. Teachers genuinly care about each child and the level of professionalism is great. I recommend monte vista to any parent within the area.

Both my niece and nephew attend Monte Vista. Both are special education students, who have shown a tremendous amount of progress since their transferring to the school. I credit the majority of their success to the special day class and resource teachers they have had as well as the behavior modification services received. The principal and her special education staff have always been supported of the children and our family. Further, they have also maintained professional, yet friendly demeanor. We have never had any problems with communication between home and school.

This school is a great school all around, however the parent-teacher interaction is not so good. I have found that some teachers don't want to give students the extra help they need to achieve good grades.

I agree with the other reviewers that the office staff is very rude. The times that I have called into the office they are not at all helpful and I dread having to call in for even small things. I also wish that there was a PTA, a little parent involvement could go along way in helping the school. On positive note, my child has been at Monte Vista 2 years and LOVED both of her teachers. Her grades have improved and her love of learning has increased. I'm very pleased with the loving and caring teachers that work at Monte Vista. I just wish the Office staff was even half that great.

I think the office staff is very rude and inconsiderate. The office staff is the first impression of the school and mine is very negative. The principal and the district seem to do nothing about it.
