This school has been a blessing in the life of my daughter. Before she attented Grace Lutheran, she hated school. She wasn't confident, she was bringing home C's and D's, always beginning me to stay home and crying. It used to break my heart. Thanks to the principal and the second grade teacher they accepted my daughter and she has flourished in this school. She's bringing home A's and B's, she's confident, she loves going to school! This school has been the answer to my prayers. We are Catholic but the great people here do not great us any different. There are not enough words or actions that can express my gratitude towards tge educators and parishioners here at Grace Lutheran School.

Excellent school. My kids have been at Grace for 6 years, going on 7. My kids love it and don't want to be anywhere else. I love the samll, family oriented atmosphere, where the staff become like extended family members. Curriculum is challenging. Faith based value system incorporated into daily activities. Small classroom sizes (14 - 16) kids per class. Safe, loving environment. Before & after school childcare available on-site. Tuition and childcare are a bargain compared to other local private schools.

We moved to Lancaster in 2005 just in time for our daughter to start kindergarten. Our search for a school started on the internet and was narrowed down to three schools which we toured. Grace Lutheran was the only school that combined a challenging curriculum with a close-knit family atmosphere. Many local private schools have high teacher turnover rates because they leave for higher paying jobs once they have their experience. Most of Grace's teachers have been there for many years and are extremely dedicated. We feel as if we have unlimited access and interaction with the teachers. Our daughter is now in fourth grade. GLS has helped us turn her into an incredibly articulate young lady who loves to read and excels in all subjects.

Small classes, great teachers and staff, small family environment -- this is a great school. Affordable too! I almost hate to see it grow, but feel other parents should know about this school. You do not have to be a Christian to appreciate the values and discipline your child will learn. Try it out!

My youngest child has attended Grace since kindergarten. She is a special needs child and the level of support and cooperation from the teachers and staff at Grace is fantastic. The enrollment is less than 200 students for the entire school, enabling the faculty to give the students a lot of individual attention.

As one of the many catholic families in this lutheran school i feel part of the family atmosphere. Love the small class size, 12 & 14 students in each of my son's classes. Teachers seem to give the extra time, even after school if needed. Band program is excellent! 2 children learned to read music & play instruments. Time given for art and creativity in every grade seems adequate and my boys have been allowed to express themselves in this area. Sports programs is a little lacking. All sports are offered, and cheerleading too, but not the powerhouse of some other grade/middle schools. To me, the excellent education makes up for less than perfect sports. Alot of parent involvement! again, family atmosphere. Good religious teachings! great prep for high school ib/ap classes.

Fantastic school! Outstanding academic quality; high expectation which the students achieve with positive instruction and support from staff. Extensive extracurricular activities. High level of parent involvement, organized by teachers and staff. Two daughters now in college excelled in high school and in college with solid foundation received at Grace from PreSchool thru 8th grade. Now have a child entering 8th grade. As a private school it has all the positives desired of a school, without the negatives of a public school. Students are motivated and reinforce each others positive behavior.
