First, keep in mind when reading these reviews that some of the "parents" are also the teachers. So your kids are going to school with kids whose parents are in charge, not always a good situation. There is a lot of favortism which the parents/teachers aren't going to mention. When we transfered out of the school my children were way behind the kids in public school even though they had gotten good grades in Vineyard. They have gotten rid of the worst teacher so I do have hope for their future. They need to raise their teaching quality so the kids will suceed in Middle school and not be so far behind in their schools in the future. There's a much better Christian school in town with higher quality curriculum and loving staff. Don't settle, you'll regret it.
great school!!!! It offers a chalenging curriculum along with a caring and loving staff. We couldn't ask for more.
I feel my child is very blessed to go to VCS. The teachers are outstanding, caring, loving and want the best for our students. The principal is upfront and personal on every level. She has great respect for the parents and is always available to us for any need we may have. My child has attended VCS starting with pre-school and is now finishing 3rd grade and will continue untill High School. I couldn't imagine having her go any place else. The mom's have a very special bond to each other as well, we support and encourage each other in a very positive way. The most important thing is that my child absoultley loves her school and thanks me all the time for letting her go to school at VCS!!! She has a 4.0 grade average. Thanks to her wounderful teachers past and present. What more could a parent ask for?
My daughter attended VCS last year and she absolutely loved it. The whole family was pleased with the quality overall. Excellent teachers, staff and atmosphere. We were very fortunate to find such a jewel in the desert.
Sounds like the parent that wrote in on the 21st of May needs to stop and look at their own child. I am guessing this isn't the first time she has had to change schools. VCS has a great staff with teachers who love and care for their students. The teachers want nothing more than to see their students succeed. I have two children, who love, their school!
As a parent of three children who have attended this school for 6 years, I have to say that I love it. I have been a public school educator and have seen on a personal level the advantages/disadvantages of public education. I chose this school because I wanted individualized attention for my children with a christian foundation. I have been very pleased... both academically and spiritually. I am an educator and know the California State guidelines for teachers. It is not required by the state for a private school teacher to be credentialed let alone possess a degree. Most of the teachers at VCS either possess a Bachelors Degree or an Associate Degree while continuing their education. They have one credentialed teacher and another with her Masters. I was disappointed to read the negative review posted. I believe that people need to be careful not to let their obvious bias appear fact.
I do noy quite understand if the rude comment was directed at our VCS campus. We do not have a 2 story school campus. I truly hope this was not at VCS. I am a parent that has been there 3 years and I absoultley love it. Our children excel in this wonderful atmosphere. We do not tolerate bad behavior and have not once witnessed inappropriate conduct. Anyone looking for a school you would be blessed to have your children there.
Great school with a loving christian environment. Great teachers and staff.
Small class room sizes allow for more individuallized attention. The special services programs that are offered at the school gives kids the added push they need.
