I agree with the January 2009 post--the excellent teachers and administrators at Hall are doing their very best to provide a great education and guide our young people to be respectful, responsible, and thoughtful citizens. Our children have just finished 5th and 7th grades at Hall, and we could not be more impressed with the quality and the commitment of the teachers, as well as of the principal and vice principal. They really care about our children, and are doing a great job of continuing to keep class sizes down, keep the focus on academic excellence, and still provide extra learning opportunities despite the discouraging state budget situation. We appreciate the parent and community involvement that enables the school to provide art, music, drama, math and science clubs, and extracurricular athletic programs, but most of all, we appreciate the truly exceptional teachers. I couldn't ask for a better middle school.

Hall has prepared my kids for the next stage in their education. We have a college freshman and an 8th grader. Our college student had a good experience at Hall, and felt academically prepared when she moved on to our local public High School. She currently is doing very well with her second semester in private university. Our more socialable 8th grader has had an even better experience with Hall. The new Principle and Vice Principle have continued and expanded the work the school does on academics and social connections. The teachers have been consistant and involved. They really seem to care. We hope the current economic crisis does not discourage them, as the staff and administation continues their excellent work! Our family appreciates all of you! Thank you, from a grateful parent.

Hall is an excellent school, where parents and students alike, should be very pleased with the whole middle school experience. Teachers are not only for academics, but also help students with personal problems if needed. The staff and environment is a very good one and anyone who goes ot his school should feel very privileged. Some of the extracurricular activities include sports teams, peer tutoring, and plays that go on during the year. Everything at Hall Middle School is top quality including the strive to educate and do well on tests, etc. Parents can be apart of the very important PTA, who help to make many decisions regarding things at school. The students are treated very well and the top priority at this school. It is an excellent place to learn as well as have fun.

Interesting statistics, however test results do not tell the whole story. I'm a parent whose child goes to this school. The continuing school cuts and lack of respect by both students and especially others parents harrassing the teachers, making demands & accusations rather than to teach their own child about manners is bringing this school's reputation in the opposite direction. Teachers have no help, parents are making more demands w/out any knowledge of teaching and no respect; they're retiring or quitting; nor does the school board bother to reprimand students. Rather, they blame the teachers instead of the problem parents. The teachers should receive higher to offset the costs of living increase, increase special education, reduce class size, it's much larger 25 students to a teacher - have the teachers give input (w/out reprimand). The administrators are overpaid and do not equally reflect the quality of teachers' performances.
