Yet once again my children have returned to Lathrop Elementary School, and there is NO other school I would rather have them at, I am very pleased with the school for adopting the voluntary common dress, I think that it is a cleaner, nicer, and more unified school appearance. Both of my children wear the VCD/school Polos, and I have had NO complaints. As always I am very pleased with the staff and administration, and very pleased to say that Lathrop Elem. has been home of the teacher of the year for the last two years....GO WARRIORS!!!
i am a student in LES it is a good school . . . .
Lathrop is a wonderful school because it has a great Principal and staff. Principal and staff always go above and beyond to tried to help students and parents. Lathrop Elementary truly demonstrates that 'Students Come First' and that education is the key to a successful future.
Lathrop Warriors really know there stuff! We love the school and the staff. Theya re so innovative and personable. Thank you Lathrop!
I enrolled my daughter here in November and have been very disappointed in the staff and the students. There are always fights and not enough yard duty. The office ladies are kind of rude and not helpful.
The Principal is awesome, the admin staff and teachers are pretty good. What this school needs is more parent participation.
My son is in the 4th grade class, and he has thrived finally making it in the honor roll. The diversity is just right, the teachers are all well trained. My son is very motivated to go to school and is striving to excel.
I last posted to this site in 2004. we have come a long way since then we are no longer a title one status. much of that is due to the pricipal and admin. staff we have since also had a school make over. thanks again for all the hard work and long hours to bring our school back to what it should be. The school nurse, the psychiatrist and educators all helped push for my daughter to be enrolled in special education where she has finally started getting good marks. I appreciate the meetings and the genuine care these staff members have shown my daughter.
I think the school could do better with more information given to parents when they hold PTC meetings. Important info not what fund raisers they are having. Should discuss the real issues that effect our school. Like the change in school start and end time. Fixing up of the school. And what we as parents expect from the district
