I have three children currently attending Billy Mitchell Elementary and have had only positive experiences. The school is diverse and has excellent teachers and great leadership. I am extremely grateful for all the teachers my children have had. Their pre-school and kindergarten teachers had laid out a great foundation. Their first grade teacher has taught them confidence, 'can do' attitudes and the love of reading! Their second grade teacher is great. My kids love the garden and are learning so much about the environment. I find it easy to communicate with the staff and my concerns are addressed with genuine interest.

Staff members are awesome and their academic strategies really do work. Adding the learning center is the best thing Mitchell has ever done. This is a place where kids who are having academic struggles can seek help and attention in the best way. Kelly Graetz is an awesome Resource Specialist, she is the best I have seen in a long time. Iam not playing favortism but Ms. O'Connor(a third grade teacher), is also an awesome teacher at Mitchell. She only accepts greatness in her students and that is exactly what they put forth. She is very kind and understanding and she treats her students and their parents with lots of respect. Kelly Graetz and Carrie O'Connor both get an A+ from me. Keep up the good work.

I was spending a lot of money on a private school thinking, I was giving the best education to my daughter and it turns out that this school i excellent. The teachers are excellent and parent participation is encouraged my daughters teacher Ms. young turned out to be a dedicated and caring teacher better than any private school .k.

I'm a Parent of a Bill Mitchell student. I feel that this School has a excellent academic system. The teach are great! My daugther has been going to this school for 4 years and I don't have one complaint.This school will make every parent want to be involved.

This will be the 3rd year for our children to attend this school. They have a friendly staff. This school has teachers who try their best to teach the children and meet each of their learning needs. The principals are also great! They know each child by their first name. They listen and are attentive to the students' and parents' concerns. I am also so pleased to see that our test scores go up each year.
