I think the principal is great, and is trying to do his best with the budget cuts. But it is way too crowded in the classroom, and the teachers always seem pretty overwhelmed. As a result the teaching is rushed as they try to hurry through things with so many students. But next year they are opening up another school, so hopefully it will get better.
This place was great, thanks Mrs, Jamie, Daily, Jaggerson, Evans, Harding, and Gomez. Couldn't have done everything w/out you ladies =)
My oldest son have attended this school, and my 2nd is in 4th grade and my last one will be soon in kinder garten, I have a great trust in this school with the great principal, teachers, team members and the most important thing is the school curriculum.
my daughter just loves being at that school
This school not only offers a top education for it's students, it also has many extra activities and rewards for academics and attendance. The teachers are amazing, and our principal, Mr.O'Neill has really gotten our children excited about learning. The PTA rocks! -- All the extras they provide to the children reinforce good behavior and academic achievement. The 'private' school we attended before had nothing to offer compared to this school. Go Blue Jays!!!
My son joined Bryn Mawr for 5th grade. He especially enjoyed the sports that the principal engaged the 5th graders in. As parents we greatly appreciated his teacher's intervention whenever he would lose focus.
I am not impressed with the school. As the previous poster stated it is over crowded and the grounds are not very sanitary. I moved here for this school but unfortunately don't have my child attend it. The curriculum is not that advanced as mentioned...just hype and only hype. Sadly disappointed with this mega elementary school.
I think this school is over rated. My experience here thus far has proved to be children out of control in the lunchroom and noisy. The grounds are just average and not that clean. The curriculum is average and not advanced compared to what I am used to. We came from a true California distinguished school...and this school doesn't even compare. I am disappointed considering all the hype surrounding it. My honest opinion is it overcrowded and over rated. Maybe my standards are too high--but they should be for the kids sake. Overall this school is a giant disappointment to me :(
All three of my children have attended/ are currently attending Bryn Mawr. I have been greatly impressed with the overall quality of teachers and leadership and activities. My kids have all had great experiences so far.
Both my children are students there. I HIGHLY recommend 'HAVIPPLAND' teachers, Mrs. Harvard and Mrs. SHIpp for kindergarten. They are THE most loving. caring and wonderful teachers. They also challenge the children. AWESOME teachers!!! school has alot of extracurricular activities. Drama club, guitar club, running club. My kids love this school as well as ME!!!.
