I can't say enough good things about Twain! My daughter started kindergarten here last year and it has been a wonderful experience for her and our entire family. The principal, PTA and staff are very involved and as a result have created a great learning environment!

As a parent of twins with Autism finding the right school to meet their needs has and will always be my priority. The last 4 years at Twain has been outstanding. The teachers, principal, counselor, etc have always been supportive of my children and their special needs. I could always talk to them about needs and issues that were developing and we worked together to ensure my children had what they needed to be successful. The schoool always includes kids with special needs in any and all activities that the regular ed kids were doing. This made my children and I feel like part of the Twain family. I wish my kids could stay at this school until 12th grade with same wonderful staff that has helped them developed in so many areas during the past 4 years.

Wonderful neighborhood school! Only downside ~ it only goes up to 5th grade. Great PTA - well organized! Tons of Parent Volunteers on a daily basis. The Principal and the Teachers really care about their students. Life is a bit easier since students have to wear uniform. ; )

My Grandchildren are going (and have gone) to Mark Twain. It is a terrific school, inclusive activities, great teachers and a wonderful principal loved by all the students.

Ms. Ryan, the principle has made all the difference in Twain. Her excitement & energy spreads to the staff & teachers. I went to Twain , as well as my wife. Its a beautiful school & needs the $$ for our Great kids !

We love Twain because of Ms. Ryan and all the wonderful staff as well as all of the extremely involved parents. Ms. Ryan has created a wonderful family like atmosphere. I enjoy working in my daughters class and love seeing so much involvement by other parents, grandparents and teachers.

Mark Twain elementary school is a gem! A lovely, old Mission-style campus with it's original bell tower and grounds provides a scenic and historic place for our children to learn. All of the teachers are motivated to provide the highest degree of education and development for our kids. I feel Twain is unique in it's desire to show our children the great importance of honoring our Veterans through our annual Veteran's Day tribute. Twain is family-centered in all aspects of learning and relies heavily on the tremendous amount of parent participation it receives from the community. This makes it very easy for me as a parent to stay involved in every facet of my son's education. We feel very blessed to call Mark Twain home.

Twain boasts wonderful and supportive teachers on a beautiful, historic campus. It is a California Distinguished school and has won the Blue Ribbon award twice! Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated. As a parent I enjoy working with my childrens teachers to provide the best education available in the area! I count it a privilege to send three of my children to Twain.
