I asked my son's opinion on this.... and he said it is hard to say "strongly agree" since he hasn't seen any evidence of bullying at all. Which means either they are excellent at it or it just hasn't happened yet.

They emphasize character throughout the classroom experience - hence the name, intellectual virtues. They bring these virtues into class exercises, pointing out when you are using curiosity, open mindedness, etc.

They don't automatically give homework and assume there must be daily homework. They understand that homework should compliment the classroom experience (i.e. read a book to discuss in class) or perhaps be time to finish something when a student... more
