Our experience is primarily with the middle school years but we wished we would have all of our children go K-8 at this school. St. Nick has an exceptional group of middle school teachers. Exceptional. They also have a principal who is primarily a teacher and not a bureaucrat. The focus is on the students and learning. It is a great community where we and our student have felt welcomed and respected. St. Nicholas has a great group of parents who support the school in all sorts of ways. Our student has been challenged to work hard in the classroom as well as participate in all the other activities the school offers. Sports are FUN and not over the top from a competitive perspective. Its very much a Catholic school but open to those of other faiths and beliefs. The technology and teaching methods are up to date and the academic results speak for themselves when it comes to getting into the best high schools. Our student enjoys going to school at St. Nicholas. Its been a great experience and we feel our student is has been prepared well for high school. Its also a very good value when compared to other private schools in the area.

St. Nicholas School is a great community full of spirit. The parent community is very welcoming and my kids love attending school at St. Nick's. The teachers are great and work together to understand each class and the learning styles of each student. St. Nicholas has a great Character Education program that teaches students about empathy and inclusive. Overall it is a great school and community to be a part of.

This school is the best! The teachers are wonderful, and the classrooms have huge libraries. The after school programs (drama, chess, art, sports, etc.) are very high quality. The uniform is very high quality as well, and we use the PE uniforms many other places. This is a 5 star school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
