My son almost immediately became more mature and so much happier after starting here last December at the age of 3. I love the Pre-K teacher Nancy, She is seasoned but still energetic and enthusiastic about her kids. She treats my son with such dignity and respect. He's learning his letters and numbers and is beginning to recognize full words. His interest in art has sky rocketed whereas before he never even cared to color or draw. I only have the pre-k experience here so far but I really am impressed with how the older kids carry themselves. They're so well mannered and friendly. A very healthy environment. I was planning on putting my son into a prestigious French immersion private school when he turns 4 but I love the pre-k teacher so much I decided to keep him in Kid's World.

I cannot even express how happy I am with the school. My daughter has been here for several years she truly loves learning. She understands HOW to study and knows how to apply what she's studying in the real world. She is motivated and involved and creating her own future and is able to align her goals with what she is learning. This is a dream for a parent - to have a teenager who is doing well and looking into the future and how she can be a responsible and contributing member of society. It is also great to know she is in a safe space that is drug and violence free and that in addition to her academics (which are exceptional) she is also up to date on current events, human rights issues, is involved in service to others and knows the importance of integrity. There is also a great teacher/student ratio so she gets the help she needs whenever she needs it.

We are so happy with this school and best of all my son loves his school. He is excited about learning. The teachers at Kidsworld are so on top of the students and their studies. If they don't understand something, they keep coming back to it until they do. I also love the art programs they have. My 5 year old loves that he gets dance and piano classes. There is so much love and care at this school. We are lucky to have found such a wonderful program.

I have 2 sons at Kids' World ages 3 and 5 and they both love it! My 5 year old is reading at an advanced level and my 3 year old is shocking me with the work he is doing with phonics. When I pick my kids up at school, i cannot even get them to leave! The staff is wonderful, they treat my kids like family and have so much love and care for what they do. I have such peace of mind when I leave them at school everyday because their teacher is amazing and I know how comfortable they are there. I wouldn't want them anywhere else.

Love this school. My daughter has been there for 2 years now. She's almost five and reading a grade ahead! She was reading and writing at 3 years old. The kindergarten/1st grade teacher is AMAZING and her ability to handle the kids with such care is impressive. She's been there for something like 18 years. The space is small but very cozy and intimate. We love that it's close to home so that our daughter can go to school with friends that also live in the area.

Quite disappointed in the way this school is run. There is NO parent involvement, not enough activities, it's not very aesthetic and kids are constantly bored. Not enough stimuli. I often did an early pick up to observe my child in school and often found her being bullied by older students and on more than one occasion found my child physically being hit by another student and in tears with NO teacher or aid around! I thought it would be beneficial but at 3 children should really be in a class with other children of similar age not 3 years older! The teacher is wonderful but her class is too big and she can't possibly watch over all of them. It wasn't until my child came home with a black eye one day and although I brought it to the schools attention I never got a single phone call from the mother or the such that I knew we had to go. The child was 5 and my child 3! I myself have never been punched in the face yet my 3 year old already had and the worst part is that NO ONE was around when it happened! It was only because the child finally confessed once my child confronted him. I could go on. Anyway I took my child out of that school and where she is now she is happy and thriving!

My daughter was not enjoying school. Getting her to go was an unpleasant chore. Finally a parent-teacher meeting confirmed our suspicion when we met a very disturbed teacher that was hanging on to her job because of tenure and was outright mean to the children. Well, that was enough for us. My wife and I started looking into alternatives. We considered everything from home schooling to charter schools. Fortunately we ran into Kids' World. After meeting the owner and several teachers our daughter agreed to give it a try. As the saying goes, the rest is history. She loves school, loves learning and is surrounded by teachers and administrators who really care about her. It's a world of difference from where she was before. I highly recommenend this school.

I have been with Kids' World School, Inc. for over 6 years. They are a great school. They go above and beyond what is normally expected from a school or teachers. The space is clean, the teachers are excellent, the method is magical with lots of hands on and understanding vocabulay is paramount, which I find excellent. It is an ideal environment. The curriculum is so perfectly layed out, everything is at the proper level for each kid and the kids have a great time in the class room. I have seem personally how they teach. There is a lot of one on one, while still encouraging and helping the students to be independent learners. I am proud to say I am a part of this wonderful school. The staff, teachers and principal are there 100% for the kids and parents and provide excellent service and leadership. You can tell they really care.

The school must have fallen on hard times. Very fews resources and materials! Work books public schools used a generation ago; mindless repetitive tasks to keep the kids "working"; no IT instruction; no music education. No lab. No homework. No sports. Lots of playing and running around in a very confined space. Several grades together in one room. Owner is the sole credentialed teacher. The non-sectarian claim is a myth. Attention to each student's individual progress is another myth. That your child performs at higher than his grade level is yet another. It is very probable in fact your child will be behind public school equivalent grade, but you hear what you like to hear and neither tests nor statistics are available. BUT: if you want your kid "in school" from 8 am until 7 pm this is the school for you. You get exactly what you pay for: a glorified babysitting service.

My daughter is currently 1 year ahead in her schooling. She just turned 9 years old and has entered the 5th grade! She has attended Kids World School her all of her school years and has received fabulous care & individual attention. When she is having trouble in any area whether with another student or her studies the staff is very attentive and helps her to manage the situation allowing her to be responsible in a way that wlll help her for life. The principle Paula cares a great deal about the children and is always open to ideas on how to improve the school. The school has continued to add fabulous activities, wonderful programs and expansion on a regular basis. I highly recommend a tour of the school if you are curious.

I am so happy that I found this school! My kids are really doing well here. They are enjoying their studies! They come home and want to read. This school is my savior as a parent, I know I have assured that my children will be well educated and be certain about their abilites when they become adults. Kimberly

My son is 14, and in his 2nd year at Kids World. He has been way ahead in math, but after 2 years in public school, [he was] behind in history, and was not being challenged (that is, learning) in reading. He is now very interested in going to school, has caught up in history and other subjects, and read a wide range of types of books for the Read-a-Thon. The class size is small, and there are not a lot of extracurricular activities, as the students are encouraged to take part in their community, and many do that. The teachers and principal are always willing to talk to me and always know how my son is doing. I am very happy this this school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
