Although our family is not Baptist, Redeemer is an extraordinary school. After floundering at our local public school, we called Redeemer mid-year to see if our daughter could attend for a day to try it out. When I picked her up, she begged me to go back the next day and she has never looked back. Our daughter fell in love with Redeemer's loving, caring community. The school has one class per grade level and a tight-knit family atmosphere. The school has high academic standards with an equal emphasis on the spiritual and personal development of the children. Students hold doors open for adults and they are respectful and polite. Aculture of manners and kindness pervades the campus. Students are held accountable for their actions and bullying is not tolerated by anyone. It's a safe, loving environment and we are so grateful to have found this school. It is definitely THE BEST kept secret in Los Angeles. With an afforadble monthly tuition Redeemer is an option for almost any family. There are a few spaces available at each grade level so if your child in unhappy, give Redeemer a try for yourself!

I honestly cannot say enough GOOD things about Redeemer! My daughter is in the 5th grade and has been attending since the 2nd grade. Once again, I could spend the ENTIRE day raving about how wonderful the school is. In short, the teachers are WONDERFUL, AMAZING and HEAVEN sent. The teachers are TRULY passionate about their kids and it clearly shows in our children. You can clearly see and tell that the teachers are there because they have a passion for what they are doing - not for a paycheck. My daughter has been on honor roll (and high honor roll) for 2 years and I attribute a lot of that to the teachers. They make learning fun, yet they are stern in their teaching and their teaching and study habits. All of the teachers just just the right balance of fun and know how to balance being stern. My daughter doesn't want to miss a SINGLE day of school - EVER - even when there are holidays.

Our family moved from New York and my son attended a private kindergarten there. I was very surprised how affordable RBE was. For what I get in return, I feel like I have struck gold. All of the teachers are there for one cause. They support and love the children. Its a safe environment and they will differentiate if you need them to. My son is 2 grade levels above and his teacher allows him to work on other tasks to enrich him. MY son and I VERY happy. Lastly, the other parents are NON pretentious. Its like one big happy family!

Redeemer is such an amazing school. It s hard to believe that in today s society, schools like Redeemer still exist. It has a warm family like feel to it. All of the teachers, staff and parents know each other, and are all so friendly. The teachers and staff at Redeemer have a way of making each child feel special and loved. Your child will definitely excel both spiritually and academically at Redeemer.

It's a great school spiritually. The 1st grade, the 6th grade teachers are extraordinary. The student's love the 3rd and 4th grade teacher as well. I just wish they were stronger in the areas of Science and Writing Skills. A foreign language would also be nice

Yes Redeemer is the best school my children have ever attended. I only wish they continued on to the 12th grade level. There are no schools comparable to what Redeemer provides.

I love this school! It's difficult to express how great it is. My daughter has grown tremendously here-spiritually, academically and socially. When your're kids are safe and happy and learning you're happy. And I am very happy!

Redeemer is a fantastic school. It is set up in a safe loving christian environment. The teachers are all very caring and supportive. I had taken my children out of this school and placed them in a public school to save money. They are now back and believe me it is worth every dime. Academically they excel the public school curriculum. My kids are happy again and so am I. They love this school.

My son has recently graduated from Redeemer. Although he has spent only two years at the school, he is dreading leaving because everyone at the school has been so loving and encouraging. A better elementary school education, combined with spiritual growth, cannot be had.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
