I am a former teacher, I have HIGH expectations for my children in school. I searched and searched for the right school and we found it! SFVA not only offers the most amazing teachers who care for your child's well being, their education but also for their spirituality, this was all I needed to see and I was sold! My expectations are being highly met. The principal seems to have a handle on things and gets the job done. It's not a huge school, but that's what makes it so great, you don't get lost in the shuffle, your child has a name and face and they are valued! We are looking forward to an exciting school year!

Don't even bother to inquire about the CDC program at SFVA! The director, Ms. Wesley, who is with the kids most of the day is overwhelmed, has no set curriculum, and does not keep the facility clean. She promotes pre-school agenda but does not deliver! My rating is based soley on the experience with the CDC.

If you're looking for a great christian education and a place where you can monitor your child's progress this is a great school. The teacher involvement with the students is great.

San Fernando Valley Academy is one of the finest schools in the San Fernando Valley. This school has very competitive teachers that keep a good comunication with parents about the student's progress. Only one thing that I do not like, there is not too much extracurricular activities to choose from

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
