Communication between staff and parents is horrible not a good learning environment they don't give homework my son is being babysat while I work not taught. Very unprofessional
I just needed to find out information and they would always give me a very hard time. I was so shocked about one of the employees insulting me, even up to this day they have every excuse in the book for me not to be able to speak to any of the supervisors. This place is very unorganized and uprofessional.
This is one of the best private schools in Los Angeles. It has been in existence for over 41 years. They have a very low class size (15 children per class average) and the teachers are very well qualified and caring about the students. The school's test scores are an indication of the students learning gains. (They achieved a 700 to 900 percent gain in their Calif state target API for 2005-2006) They achieved these results due to their well structured academic and personalized program that they have instituted for each student. I highly recommend Golden Day to any parent who is seeking an excellent education for their children. The children have extra curricula activities such as dance, theater arts, Sports and many outside exploratory field trips.
