Although my daughter is new to the school, there were several things I liked about it right away. The curriculum seems very balanced. There are blocks of time for each core area and these subjects are visited daily. My daughter loves writing and art. If allowed, she would spend her time doing only these things. At the Riordan Center math is made fun and various methods are taught to the children to make math a game. This has helped her to like math. Art, physical activity and field trips are available to the students. I also love the fact that the school is Kinder through First Grade only. The entire campus is designed to make the younger students feel comfortable. I like that more time is spent w/in their own peer group while they learn basic skills that they will carry into the higher grades. This builds confidence.

I am the parent of a 5 year old attending Richard Riordan school, her first year attending in pre-school was great, we're not too excited about this school year though, I don't believe she's getting the same attention she did before so she will not attend first grade here.
