I expected more as a charter school. The school is very traditional. The leadership is extremely weak. Have tried speaking to administration about concerns but Principal was never in or just won't take phone calls. Removed my child from that school and moved them to the other local charter school where academics are more rigorous and administration is very visible.
Excellent teachers, staff and principal. The feeling of family is wonderful. Most importantly my son arrived to the school not wanting to attend school anymore and is now excited about being at the school.
Amazing principal. he was my son's teacher in third grade and made a big influence on his life. The school has seen many changes and it is due to Mr. B and the changes that he has made. Though he is young, he has better sklls that the former principals. In 2 yeas the school has brown 185 point in API! The school needs a new building and more resources
NEW Academyis a growing school that offers parents and families an opportunity to gro, learn, and make choices that will effect the future of the students positively. A well rounded educations is provided for all students. Parents are welcome to come to the school to volunteer and to seek answers to any question.
