Wow! If you think this school is the best preschool on this side of Los Angeles, then you don't expect much for your child. The school is junky, dirty (ie, carpet, bathrooms and toys), many repairs and updates needed. There's many safety issues. It's crowded with stuff everywhere. The teachers seem very stressed and unhappy.
This School is a wonderful asset to the community!! They are Redgio inspired, and use an array of methods to enhance your child's learning experience. Your child will learn and flourish in the best preschool on this side of Los Angeles! With 42 years of experience your child will walk away with a greater advantage, and understanding to help them excel in their academic future.
Excellent choice for my loving boys! I have a 4 year old and 16 month old boy who attend Little Angels and they are very happy there. They look forward to going to school and have learned alot since I placed them there back in April 2010. There is no perfect school, but the staff and administration at Little Angels do a superb job of nurturing their students.
CDC of Little Angeles is a great pre- school because it has a staff that is commited to the well-being of children. There is no perfect school but Little Angels comes very close. There are many field trips and enrichments such as sign language, dance, yoga, karate, and spanish. The toddler center could be better though They are well loved and cared for but the academics could be a better. I only say this because after having a child come from the toddler center at two able to identify the alphabet, numbers1-10, know her colors , shapes, spell her full name speak clear full sentences, and know many spanish words I have high expectations and the toddler staff now though very caring I haven't seen the the same type of work that my first daughter was doing. Overall a great choice for pre-k. Students by age 4 are readers, spellers, have math skills.
I was not informed of all policies in place, specifically the withdrawal policy enforced only after I withdrew my child from the school. I withdrew my child after her cultural beliefs were not respected, namely that they told her on 2 occasions to pray a certain way at mealtimes. This is not a religious school.
Academic programs are great, they offer music, dance, and have an array of programs. I would love to see this school have grades k-8
