Milagro Charter School is exceptional school. Its leadership has created an exciting environment where everyone is committed to teaching and learning with the goal of providing students a holistic education. The school s priorities have been to build students skills and knowledge in the core subjects and also in developing students as individuals that can think creatively, that can work with others- in teams collaboratively, and that their interests and concerns go beyond the classroom into impacting the community. The principal has been committed to ongoing professional development for its faculty in order to continually update and improve best teaching practices. In addition, the principal supplements the educational experiences of the students by incorporating professional artists in providing authentic art experiences for the students. Finally, all of the school s stakeholders are invested in the success of the students: parents, teachers, administrators and collaborating organizations. Parent involvement/participation has been an essential part for creating this successful school community.

Milagro is all about the success of every child emotionally and academically. Everone on the staff works together for the benefit of all students and we love being here! We also believe parents are important and we have family nights once a month when not only parents but also brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts, cousinss and grandparents participate in our activities.
