Carousel is the best school for children with special needs. My sister has been attending Carousel for 3 years now and i have been thankful to this institution since then. Her instrructors have been wonderful, and the staff is amazing! At Carousel children are treated like family and they are given all the love and attention. They have great activities for the children throughout the year, like snow day (with real snow) in the summer they organize pool parties, they make a mardy gras celebration and elect queens and kings among the children. They all sing and dance together and have a great time. I have seen a great improvement in my sister since she began this school and i am glad we can form part of "The Carousel Family" .
Wonderful! This is the best for my child, and believe me, my child is a challenge! I would recommend this school to parents with special needs kids!
Caroussel has professional and paraprofessional staff that are loving, caring and extremely knowledgable in child development, diverse styles of learning and special education needs. My autistic son has grown tremendously in academics, social behavior and oral and written communication because of Carousel's excellence. They also provide great sports and performing arts experience for all their students.
My daughter has attended Carousel School for 3 years and has been very successful. She was floundering as the public school system was unable to meet her needs. Carousel has small class sizes and a high adult to student ratio that helped to give her a better educastional experience.
It is important to know Carousel is a special needs school. My autistic son attends this school because his school district finds it to be a good placement for him, as they could not properly service him at his home school. Carousel is not perfect in the way that papers often do not come home and organization is somewhat lacking, but the staff have a lot of caring and patience with the students. The school definitely has 'heart.'
